Toyota Corolla no brakes

Toyota Corolla no brakes:mad:

Yes you may find this after fitting brake pads and pushing the cyls: back, you can't get a pedal, and in fact can bleed all you like and can't get a pedal:(

A new master cyl: will fix the fault but is not needed, remove the master cyl: take it apart, look at the piston and a small valve, it wont be in it's seat, fiick it to reseat and the system will now bleed fine:)

The fault

This is that when pushing the fluid back the valve did not reseat and held open.

This fault can be seen on a good number of Toyota cars the 55 plate Corolla is one of them.

Best way is to open the bleed nipples before pushing back the cal: pistions.

interesting post wonder how many mechanics change the master cyl instead. wonder if it is just toyota that this happens to or other cars also if just them they need to redesign the master cyl.
