Default Nissan X Trail sport DCI, 3000 Revs: only.

If you have an X Trail, that has closed down the system and only revs: to 3000 and codes crank position sensor "A" circ, range/performance.

This may well be the sensor, but may will have the wave trace and voltage, we have found that the fault is clutch dust X/S and buld up on the sensor.

Check on the flywheel to the N/S, unbolt the sensor and check and clean, we in fact wash out the bell housing with wash and the cleaning gun.

You will need to do a code clear before the engine will rev:, the sensor is of the hall sig: type and works at 5v.
