Default Help with Astra 1.6 8v X regn:.

Hi, a little help needed with Vauxhall 1.6, 8v x regn, with fly by wire throttle body.
Will go into limp home and codes P1120 Accelerator pedal position sensor 1,
and P1122 Accelerator pedal position sensor 2, wont clear.

We have changed the pedal sensor but still as before, could the fault be in the throttle body on inlet m/fold, thanks.

Sure very common fault, ecm fault, tracks will be found ok on the padel sensor, but you may find data missing within in hand set, making you think fault is the padel .

Change the ecm, two plug unit N/S of engine, there are now a number of plug and play units around, try ATP in our links page.

check to the pedal sensors.......do you have 5v volts supply on two of the cables???if not then you have faulty ecu or broken cable from ecu to pedal sensor........faulty ecu most common issue
