![]() How we really did it!!
Well if you have been watching Flight VA1313 and the Real Air Force One episodes you must be wondering by know just how we did it, and got the Boeing 747 here for Lady-J. Well first we had to find one, yes a real Boeing 747, not an easy job, but after a google search we found one at Kemble airfield, not many miles away!! The price was a little high, at a little over 300K, but it was for Lady-J after all ![]() Next it was get it to the Sixties Garage in Madley Herefordshire. Well after 3 weeks of Bob and Timbo unbolting it into a number of parts, it was time to transport it to Hereford. To do this we used Cook Trasport, here is a time lapse video from the Kemble to Hereford City and out to the Sixties Garage ![]() When it got off the motorway, you could see just how big it was, taking up most of the road and making major traffic hold up's, mind you this was nothing new for Hereford!! ![]() Here we enter the city with the 747, police out-riders on there bikes stop traffic, it's a real night mare, but what we do for you Guy's to bring you a movie like Flight VA1313 and The Real Air Force One!!
As the convoy got well into Hereford there was hold up's on the new bridge in the city, many on lookers came to see Lady-J's 747 as it made it's way over the river wye and the new bridge in Hereford, her 747 is now just ten miles from the Sixties Garage, honest ![]() Next in the convoy came the cockpit as sceen in the film and where Lady-J would take the controls that you see in the two big Movies on this very site and tonights amazing episode at 9pm!! See next Video as her 747 moves slow over the bridge and river wye. It was now touch and go as Lady-J's 747 made it's way under the bridge at Belmont road Hereford, will it? Wont it ![]() See the video We only f-ing did it, and it's now a short run to the Sixties Garage and the making of Flight VA1313 and The Real Air Force One. Well who but Bob would have a 747 in the garden? What we do here at the Sixties Garage to bring you the best Movies on the net!! Last edited by Holly Goodhead; 22-11-2017 at 07:54 PM. |
