Thumbs up No start Vauxhall Vectra-c 2002, 2.2 Diesel.

Customers complaint, no start .
First we did a code read and all that came up is code P1590, you may find that this code canbe found to set on some cars within this range, it is only due to a soft ware glith, and not to be taken any notice of .

I tested and found no fuel at injectors, and also there is no fuel in the filter, i can also see that fuel is being sucked back from the filter, there is no pump within the tank and it should be noted that the injector pump as the tank pump also.

I checked that i could pump fuel from the fuel tank with an elec: pump, fuel came up but it was noted to be black.

Now i know what the fault is, and if you find black diesel in the tank, dip the oil, like this car the bet is that the oil level will be low, or off the stick.

Fault is that the injectors are in under the rocker cover, and the injectors seals are sucking oil down the diesel return line and filling the tank with sump oil, you will need to sv: the injectors, and clean oil from the tank.

Oh dont foget to fill the sump with oil also .
