Wish all posts here were as easy as this one , with all the wet, you canbe sure to have water in the Central control module for convenience, 46 in the data stream, and I can bet you can't read it.

You will find it sitting in a fish pond, near/side floor, also check the loom run to the kick trim, for wiring trouble.

Try reading the dash 17 and the gateway data bus 19, bet it codes no comms 01330, central control module for convenience this unit is 46, and as said, in a black plastic box in the front floor well.

If you own a VW Passat, and also have some funky things happening with your electronics you probably have something wrong with your Comfort Control Module (CCM), or at the very least, the wiring harness.

If your Passat has these symptoms, in part or in full, you are almost certainly in for a rough time.

•Remote keyfob not working
•No electric windows
•No interior lights
•Funky clicking noises coming from the passenger seat (RHD)
•General strange things going on with your electrics
All of these things are controlled by a box called the Comfort Control Module (CCM) that sits in a box under the passenger floor panel (RHD).
This box holds all of the key electronics that control all of the above functions. Unfortunately for Passat drivers, there is a problem with water getting into the foot well of the car, and ruining your control electronics.
