Ebay sales

When shopping on line or Ebay for any type of meds or food, many are ripping off customers for double the price, or four times the price or more

In fact even garden seeds Bob has reported up to four times the price.

We will remember you scamers on ebay.

Your local shop market or chemist is much the best, the price may have gone up a bit, but not by much.

EBay has been urged to clamp down on people profiteering from the coronavirus outbreak as sellers rake in hundreds of pounds from vastly inflated prices on household goods.

The Guardian found one UK-based seller who had pocketed £1,000 from selling packs of Andrex toilet roll at £50 each – more than double the retail price – on eBay since Saturday morning.

Another had sold a 72-pack of toilet roll for £99.90, quadruple its regular price of £27, while the same product was advertised by another seller for £84.99.

This seller, apparently based in the Midlands, appeared to have bulk-bought dozens of cleaning products and uploaded them to eBay at huge mark-ups over the weekend as panic-buying swept UK supermarkets.

Traders on Amazon and eBay have been accused of making a profit from the coronavirus outbreak after mammoth price hikes.

Hundreds of customers have called out some Amazon sellers for "taking advantage of the coronavirus," with evidence suggesting prices have leapt up since February after the outbreak spread.

In one example, six bottles of 300ml Carex hand sanitiser sold on eBay on Tuesday, March 18 for £146 - although the price shot up to £201.20 with 30 minutes to go before one bid fell through.

Another customer was left furious after a pack of 50 face masks was found being sold for £50.99, which you can get from other Amazon sellers for £19.99.

Yet another seller priced a 100ml pocket-size hand sanitiser at £24.99 while a 60ml bottle can be found, on the same website, for £1.94.

Research by Lincolnshire Live found that the average price for a 300ml hand sanitiser bottle on eBay was around £30 - with small 50ml bottles rarely found for less than £10, a huge rise on the price they would have been listed for before the outbreak.

There is no suggestion anyone is breaking the law - but the activity has come in for fierce criticism from customers, and Amazon and eBay have made it clear that so-called 'price gouging' is unacceptable.

So it is clear internet shopping for these items on Ebay and Amazon should be checked by the real shop price before buying.

Thank you Miss Tina, it is not looking good at all, and really thought he was getting better, so this is really bad news.

Tim is not happy with those that take over, so do hope he will make it, he maybe the best we have to get things done.
