have you looked at travel trailer or utility trailer hubs? it looks a lot like some of the hubs on trailers that have brakes. most vehicles including trailers over here have tapered roller bearings not ball bearings.

I had been thinking of what hubs may fit too, but could be that Bond made the hubs themselves

If it was me we would run on some type of better hub, but it's a big job to mod it all and the brakes and what ever type of links it has.

I have had Bond cars here in the past, but not had one here for years and really can't remember what it's all like under the rear.

Some classic owners don't like mods and want it as it was the day it was made.

I looked at some trailer hubs we have here, but not found them to be like the one seen.
Bob.

it would probably cost too much to take the good one to a machine shop and have it duplicated.

It maybe an idea the get a good machine shop to look at the hub and see if something could be done, without seeing it myself it's hard to say from just a pic, but it is round so you could turn it ok, even to fit bigger bearings.

update - over the weekend the offending hub / bearings was removed and cleaned - then all re assembled and stuck together using Loctite 641 - left on the bench for 24 hours to cure , then put back on the car and all tightened up - there is minimal play , new bearings would cure that - it will get tried next weekend on a 60-70 mile round trip to a show .

update to come ST
