The SAS and MOD say they have never seen one of these before and don't know much about how to defuse it.
Justine is going to defuse the bomb with a little help from you Guy's here on on the forum .

She is trying to find out more about it, it has numbers on it, can any one help Justine defuse the bumb, here is the only numbers on the Bomb, or what ever it is, we just don't know, 423-015010.01.01.1, MENZOLT RPR 30N 214.

If the bomb came from the MOD I would have thought that there would be some info on how to defuse it somewhere, and if it is one of ours how did it end up at Gibbmodoll?

Looks more like a guided missile than a bomb. Early swingfire or similar perhaps. Have you got a picture of the back end of it yet.

Hi Guys, well in fact we just don't know anything about it, all I can say is it's now humming and the name and numbers are the only thing on the bumb.

Timbos Justine is kitting out and will go in and defuse the bomb, do please help Justine defuse it right here on the forum, she will be on a WW2 fleld telephone right by the bomb or missile as Cyber Ted said.

Here is a demo of the fleld telephone she will use

Any one who can help our Justine cut the right wire, anyone up for it!! anyone at all!!

Great stuff Gibb. *Lisen very carefully, I shall say this only once!"

The only way to cut the right wire is to use the tried and trusted, "eni meeni mini mo" technique! Or as all bad electricians tell you , red to red, green to green, and blue to bits!

Good luck, with help from the likes of me about you're going to need it.

Priceless.

OK Justine, if it is a missile then it will have a shaped charge warhead, this means that most of the force of the explosion will go in one direction, in this case forward. The safest place is therefore to straddle the missile and work on it from above. (Make sure gibbmodoll, wisey and timbo take loads of pics.)
I think you should follow jayjays advice on wires, just don't cut the silver one at the back, that's the guidance cable and causes the missile to self destruct if broken.
I did mention the secondary self destruct charge yes? Oh good. Carry on then.

We all have our fingers crossed here at the tower.

Oh and I forgot to mention the rocket motor. If the missile has not been fired then the rocket motor will be live. Best you don't smoke while working/sitting on it. It will only fly for about 4 kilometers if it does ignite. You should probably check your pilot's licence covers rockets/missiles.

Hope this helps.

Here you can take up the challenge at defusing the bomb yourself, just like our brave Justine, but remember our Justine only gets one chance.

Click the link and have a go

http://www.funny-games.biz/defuse_bomb.html, you have two minutes

Later see Justine cut the cables on the real bomb, can she save Gibbmodoll and the forum ? .

Woohoo I did my part helping Justine save Gibbmodoll, (and apparently the world from certain doom).
I'm sorry about the two minor explosions before I got it right, hopefully nothing important blew up.
