glad you guys are ok, too bad about the lambs. good thing you have the proper equipment to clear the snow and a good generator and plenty of fuel for it.
we lost our power last night at 11pm didn't come back on until 4am but it was in the upper 30's F so no too bad. no snow here just wind and rain the upper part of our state got 5-8 inches of snow but we are near the coast so got rain.

sounds like you guys need one of these

it's a walther snow fighter used a lot in upstate new york they also had one with a snow blower that could throw snow over a 5 story building. it has a four cylinder diesel engine with pistons the size of one gallon paint cans. at idle it shakes the ground.

Hi Carly's Guy, yes the internet has been down for a number of days, the farm has been fully cut off, ther is still much snow up here, but it's starting to go very slow, not sure if the internet will hold out or not, but it's back on for now.

Some of the props and clothes for the two now Movies came into the garage today, the first post van we have had for days.

Will try and add a tread if the internet holds out.

We have not seen anything of Mr and Mrs Kats for sometime, think where he is he should be ok, but the cold here has been major, and for older people it's not been good.

Bob has been really cold in the house, Wisey too, they say there is more snow to come tonight, and could be a big fall again

It's been much better today however, not so cold, I can only get to the Garage, and not to my office at the farm, so photos are on my office PC there, Bob did some photos of the props and clothes that came today for the new movies, will try and post them.

Bobs Doll that will star in one of the movies, we had hope we would get her out of the box today and move her into the house, but there was not enough time, but Bob has made a cart for her, like Lady-J's

sounds like you may need to get two way radios for the farm and garage for when the lines are down, of course it depends on what is between the two if it would work or not

Only way really is to wait it out, it's really nice up there in summer, but winter well not good, you need lots of food and oil and just wait it out, it can at times be two weeks.

you can see why Bob had to move here with his bad legs, no way could he stay up there and rick not getting out if somthing major happend

Yes that is just the thing, trouble is the snow can be as high as the hedge and block the small roads, the farms up here dig out the snow with tractors and buckets, it's one single track 4x4 or tractor only.

If you meet anyone you have to back up for miles, the snow packs down, and you have ice.

With all the hills you have to go down you have wheels on the bank or you slide off the road, like I did

Most go across fields from farm to farm, that is the safe way, but that's tractor only or your great looking pick up!!
