Default strange part/tool

i got this years ago and just found it again never did know what it was anyone have any ideas. it's made of iron or steel with a piece of wood inside held with a pin.

Well I have no idea, Timbo said it could be a plant dibber, you push it in the ground or plant pot, to make a hole, drop the plant or seed in.


He said Bob has something like it and has wood on top that is a fork handle, could the wood have had more to it?

Do you think it's something off farm?

i have no idea holly the metal part is 5.5 inches (139.7mm) long and 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) across. with the pointy end dipping in don't know if it would make a good dibble.

I did find this on the internet, and this is log splitter tool so they say, so Carly could be right



The wood end is a bit odd in your photo.

well i think it may be a tent pole spike , the bit you put in the ground - for a big ridge tent or a belle tent , whatever it is we dont want a poke up the bum with it
