Thanks Holly.

I quiet like the name of the boat as well, however Mr and Mrs Fezmonkey are going to change it next year to 'La Belle Alliance'.

It means 'the beautiful friendship' and was were Wellington and Blucher met at the end of the battle of Waterloo.

Changing a boats name involves some odd rituals that I will explain nearer the time.

Much love Lucy xxx

And so to the next visitor to the new boat - Ana.

Yay it's me xxx

Ana arrived on a cold windy day and was disappointed not to be allowed to go cruising due to a red flag flying over the marina.

She did however quickly settle into her new surroundings.

Being used to spending most her time living in a little room on the Fezmonkey's London boat Ana found her new surroundings very comfortable.

This led to her coming up with an idea .....

.... Can I live here always ....

..... Yes you can ......

And so the Narrow Boat became my floating home

And given the logistics of moving clothes, food, wine, and Duke to the boat each time having one Teddy babe there already would give both girls a chance of cruising together.

Very much look forward to find out what it takes to change the name of a boat

Welcome Ana, how lucky you Lady's are to live on the boat, With Mr and Mrs Fezmonkey.

May I say how nice it looks inside, and a lot more room than I thought, May I ask how long the boat is.
Holly

The boat is 50ft (15.25 M) long and 6ft 8 (2.1 M) wide according to Mr Fez.
Much Love Ana

Hi Carly,

We have a life ring on the roof of the boat, see first picture, and small life jackets.

We steer on the right on the canals in the UK, so if we meet anything coming the other way we head towards the right or Starboard side.

Much love Ana xx

And so a couple of days after it was decided I could stay on the boat as my home I finally made it outside.

Although it was still rather windy

Much love Ana xx
