Smile Handy Riv Nut Tool

Handy Riv Nut Tool

The tool can drive rivet nuts where the big tools can't, used here in our workshops.

What did you use them on?

The tool looks really good, think Bob put an order in for one, so we can tell you more about it and how good it works

they're hard to find now a days around here but back in the 70's they were sold as repair parts for screen doors. i used the to repair lawn mowers and add accessories to my cars. i used them a lot before i bought my tap and die set. i have seen some people use large size ones for 1/4-20 bolts to hang mirrors on trucks.

We do still have them here, they are handy as you say in car panel work, or where you can't gat a bolt on the back.

I don't like them much as if they rust in the bolt they turn round and round and the bolt wont come out, sometimes they canbe usful

We have the big hand kit to fit them, and screws from 3mm to 12mm.

As you can see the little tool in the video can fit them where this tool can't
